Grown men acting like kids does nothing to promote IRL racing. If they can not win on the track they should not act like this off of the track.

It's to bad that this overshadowed Dixon's Ah-mazing 3Peat!
So I am going to take this breif moment to give Dixon Congratz!
WHOO GO DIXON! GRRREAAATT JOBBB!
OK now back to the incident
I have to say that both sides were in the wrong from my view, even though i do like one of the drivers better...
But I am very happy that this happened, because it may bring some publicity to the sport, and then maybe more people will Watch the race next week, and Nashville is ALWAYS a Great show =]

Post-Race Fight...
It was quite unfortunate that things got out of hand the way they did on Sunday. It diminished a pretty good race and a great effort by Scott Dixon and the Target team.
Kanan was out of line for chopping Hornish like that at the end of the race. Especially since he had no reason to do so. What happened out on the track was his fault. Sam did what he had to do during the race, he clearly had the position on Kanan. Kanan was trying to drive him off of the track.
It's no secret that Tony has a history of driving all over the track and not maintaining his line, especially when under attack. I have always questioned his skill as a driver. Now I question his character as a man. The cheap shot to the side of Sam's helmet is evidence of that. What is sad about that is the fact that after the shot, he stood there on national television and said he had no intention of committing violence. Men show what they are really made of when the pressure is on. Kanan fails the test miserably.
However, Sam was not totally innocent in this. He should not have charged Tony like that. I know he was mad and all, but he should have kept his cool. Mr. Hornish should not have gotten involved either. In fact, he should not have been there. Nor should the person that attacked him. Civilians, family or not, should not be in the hot pits, period, just for this reason.
Be that as it may, what is the action to be taken? In my humble opinion The IRL needs to send a clear message to all involved to let them now that this kind of behavior will not be tolerated. This situation could of easily spiraled out of control. Take both of them off the track for an event, and hit them hard in the wallet and in the points. Tough love is the only thing that will be adhered to, not meaningless slaps on the wrist.

Mind your buisness
Mr. Hornish you are not a driver so step off. There would have not been a big scene if it wasn't for Sam's
father. Drivers and all others in the pit area need to
learn to control their emotions.l

Hornish Sr started it.
who's the guy who takes down Hornish, Sr.?
Hornish Sr is an idiot. I guess they're just getting ready for Sam's move to Nascar. Is this what it takes to get ratings? Emotions were running high, but this is still unacceptable, I hope and expect Brian Barnhart to issue some penalties, like banning Hornish Sr and the guy he was wrestling with from the pits for the rest of the season.
