I was so happy to make this event (being my first one) and honestly at the begining my friend and I were both hoping to see a wreck or two. However; I never expected to see a wreck after the race was "suppose to be" over. I guess his crew figured he knew that the checked flag had been dropped, still don't understand this. The next race had several wrecks to. I'd like to be able to say its the track and in some ways it could be, but his last 2 races?!?

Seems like Matsuura brakes just as he crosses the line. His brake light blinks for a moment. Of course, that's no excuse for Franchitti to rear-end him like that. But, is it a normal procedure to hit the brakes at the finish line??? I remember Ayrton Senna doing the same thing after a F1 race right in front of Alan Prost and recieving a heavy fine afterwards.

Spotter (or lack thereof)...
Whoever is responsible for the race communication between the 27 car and it's driver needs to be reprimanded by AGR. There is no excuse for not having a constant communication in the waning laps of the race. Yes, I am making some assumptions.

Poor Matsuura - has enough trouble finishing races with a healthy car to now have Dario wipe it out after the race is over. Ouch!!

I have tickets for Chicagoland. I sure hope Dario is
taking his air show on the road with him.
