    Reunited

It is a total non event. Champ car was going under and all the teams were joing the IRL anyway.

    Why so many oval haters

Whoa slow down, I can't believe all this anti oval talk. Most of you must not be aware that indy cars only raced on ovals til the mid 60's. Road courses and even the pikes peak hill climb made it on the schedule later on. But Indy cars were designed for Indy and last I checked Indy was an oval!!

    A good start

Hi racefans! I loved F1 in the past, was way back in the 1970´s. It´s no sport any longer. So i concentrate in sportscars (LeMans). NASCAR is nice to have, but not that thrilling thing. American open wheel racing was a fantastic mix of different courses like ovals, super speed ovals, road courses, street races and an airport. Wow! Too bad, dirt tracks are no part of the plan any longer. This mix is, what makes open wheel racing really exciting. Let´s concentrate on that. The merger is a good base for an exciting future in OWR. There´s a lot to do. Keep the level high and the cost low.

    To Bad

Sorry I thought the press conference was like a really bad wedding, complete with mic feedback. The second I heard all of the name-dropping, you could tell we where in trouble.

Some of the best tracks in the world are dropping off the 2008 schedule. Leguna Seca & Elkart Lake. Keep Watkins Glenn, it is also a 1st class track. Ovals are good, but unless you have gone to one of these tracks you haven't seen a new dimension. I hope all 3 are on for 2009.

Keep the Atlantics as a feeder and bring back Trans Am Series (CC's biggest loss, before today).

Accelerate a new IRL car formula, or the IRL series will die.
