Eight famous automobiles from the collection of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame Museum will be on display during the 2004 Amelia Island Concours d' Elegance, one of the most popular and prestigious gatherings of auto industry and motorsports insiders and enthusiasts in the country.
A total of 275 classic automobiles will be on display during the Concours, which takes place March 12-14, 2004, on the small resort island just north of Jacksonville, Fla.
The guest of honor for the event is three-time Indianapolis 500 winner Bobby Unser, who won "The Greatest Spectacle in Racing" in 1968, 1975 and 1981. Various cars from Unser's illustrious career, including one from the Speedway's collection, will be on display.
The 2004 Concours also pays tribute to Rolls Royce in honor of its 100th anniversary.

The 2004 Amelia Island Concours d' Elegance takes place at the Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island, and the The Golf Club of Amelia Island at Summer Beach. Hall of Fame Museum a popular holiday stop: The Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame Museum is a popular and affordable tourist destination during the holiday season. The museum is open every day of the year except Christmas Day, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. (EST). Admission is $3 for adults, $1 for children age 6-15 and free for children ages 5 and younger.
