IndyCar Series Fans Can Now Drive Lap Of Lifetime At IMS

The Indy Racing Experience offers two kinds of thrills -- either as a passenger or as the driver of an IndyCar Series car.

Riding in the passenger seat of a 180-mph two-seat IndyCar Series car at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway just became the second-best "ride of a lifetime," because fans can now get behind the wheel and drive.

Sinden Racing's Indy Racing Experience, which for almost a decade has thrilled thousands with a high-speed ride in the two-seat IndyCar Series cars at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, is offering enthusiasts the chance to drive an IndyCar Series car around the legendary 2.5-mile oval.

The single-seat, open-cockpit cars that are part of the Indy Racing Experience stable have Indianapolis 500 history, as each one has competed in "The Greatest Spectacle in Racing."

Participants will be put through a brief training session and then drive four laps around the Speedway behind one of the Indy Racing Experience's professional drivers.
