Delphi Engineers receive the BorgWarner Louis Schwitzer Award trophy, awarded for the Delphi Earpiece Sensor System. The system provides a driver's head acceleration values at the moment of a crash impact, provided medical personnel valuable data to diagnose head injuries. The engineers donated the $5,000 award to the Sam Schmidt Paralysis Foundation. Schmidt poses with the Delphi engineers.
