 Indy Flashback: Murphy Sets Record, Earns First Win From Pole This is the second in a series of historical stories called "Indy Flashback" that will appear on www.indy500.com leading up to the month of May. In this series of features, Joe Crowley, media coordinator for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, has written stories as they would have appeared had there been a World Wide Web in the early part of the 20th century.
