 De Ferran Speeds Through New York On Media Tour The spoils of victory continued to shower on Gil de Ferran, winner of the 87th Indianapolis 500, during a media tour of New York on May 27-28. De Ferran conducted a two-day whirlwind schedule of publicity and media activities in the Big Apple that started less than 48 hours after he earned his first "500" victory in the No. 6 Marlboro Team Penske Panoz G Force/Toyota/Firestone.
