 Indy 500 Cars Among Items In Vince Granatelli's Racing Auction Cars that finished second and third in past Indianapolis 500's will be up for bid when Vince Granatelli auctions his entire racing operation, including a building, business jet and thousands of parts, during a sale Nov. 15 in Phoenix. There will be four Indy-style cars, all in immaculate condition, highlighting the auction inventory. Included are the March that Roberto Guerrero drove to second place in the 1987 Indianapolis 500 and the Lola that Arie Luyendyk brought home third in the 1991 Indianapolis 500. Two other Lola cars that Luyendyk drove that year also are on the block. Two of the Lolas include Ilmor Chevy engines. Guerrero's March is race-ready.
