The spoils of victory continued to shower on Gil de Ferran, winner of the 87th Indianapolis 500, during a media tour of New York on May 27-28.
De Ferran conducted a two-day whirlwind schedule of publicity and media activities in the Big Apple that started less than 48 hours after he earned his first "500" victory in the No. 6 Marlboro Team Penske Panoz G Force/Toyota/Firestone.
The highlight Tuesday, May 27 for de Ferran was ringing The Closing Bell at the New York Stock Exchange, televised to millions worldwide on TV. CNBC also interviewed De Ferran live from trading floor at the NYSE.
