1958 First of 50 races.
Message:
In 1958 my family and I were on the inside of turn 3 when the first lap wreck happened. Not the greatest moment to remember for an 9 year old boy. But I've been to everyone since and could write a book of things I have seen and experienced in 50 years. In 1964 I climbed up and over a phone both that was on the corner the garage area and got into the Mustang Pace car until a guard caught me. For my 31st race I was interviewed by a local tv station which my uncle video taped and I still have. Last year 20 of my friends went to celebrate my 50th race and they all signed a poster to commerate that occasion and I have it haging in my garage along with many other items I collected in the 50 years.
