I was thinking, which is usually dangerous.
The Indianapolis 500 was there when Auto racing started. Over the years it has been the launching ground for a lot of performance and safety features that are now in our everyday vehicles.
Now there is all the talk of alternate energy powered vehicles, and the biggest of these is electric. What if a new racing venue was started up to address the development of electric powered vehicles.
Where else should something like this begin, but Indianapolis the Racing Capital or the World.
It would be interesting to know what the reactions of all the automakers would be. There is nothing like a good competition to spur innovation.
