If ESPN can broadcast the NFL draft all day long, (which is tantamount to watching paint dry) they why don't they broadcast continuous coverage of qualifying for the 500 |

I am delighted to see the renewed enthusiam for the Indy 500. However, the television coverage by ABC for the race was as bad as it gets. Constant interruptions from ABC promoting their new shows, something no one wanted to hear. I understand the need for advertising but this was over the top. ABC even had the race announcer promoting the upcoming shows. Give us a break and let us enjoy the event at least for a minute at a time. ABC is turning people "off" instead of "on". |
