Perhaps with the number of incidents created by cars slowing to go in the pits to hit the limiter at the right speed, it might be an idea to get all cars that want to pit to use the long pit lane that begins at the entrance to turn three? It's a longer distance, but if everyone has to use it, it would be fair. In the old days when you could go as fast as you liked into the pits, you didn't have the worry of people slowing down all the way back in the short chute.
