Why hasn't the IRL levied a fine and probation on DP for this incident? The fact that no one got hurt shouldn't detract from the seriousness of the incident. Is it really OK to drive 150mph during a yellow? As an amateur racer myself, I know that a yellow means SLOW DOWN! The safety crews need to be protected.

The track was under caution for a crash on the inboard of Turn2 so the safety trucks were out there as they were supposed to be. In addition to handling the crash, they also have to check for TINY pieces of debris.

Why was Danica accelerating at what sounded like full throttle out of Turn2 where the earlier crash was being cleaned up when the track was clearly under caution?????

Missed the race. So she spun out the pits and flat spotted her tires. I assume it was pit under a yellow flag and she recovered and went out on the track, THAN promptly blew the tire. WHAT WAS THE SAFETY team doing on the track while she was up to speed? Or was she going fairly slow? What's the track speed limit with yellow flag? Help me lay out the whole scenario for me. Danica fan but gee that was close. However it is racing. Thanks (please no smart A replies) PS If under yellow what was the reason.

can you get any closer. what happen to the sensor. it worked last week why not this week. for a little girl she sure has a lead foot. i hope i dont run into her in columbus,oh. she needs to slow down some and then get on it after the safety truck. oh well everybody's ok but i guess she got the crap scared out of her again this week. shes only down to 7 lives now!

for the person below me if you would actually pay attention to the race instead of just thinking danica is hot you would understand that the reason her tire blew was because she spun out coming out of the pits so the tire got worn down thats why it exploded and "green" her crew cheif moron said he should of told her to go slower cause she just spun its danicas fault her tires didnt need changing she's a terrible driver she's a danger to others out there on the track she costed 2 wins to her teamates this year running into T.K. and running dario off the pit entrance yesterday so lets review danica runs dario off pit needed FUEL!!! NOT TIRES!!!! so left pit lane with tires that were fine could of finished the race on those tires she left with spun out for no reason coming out of the pits causing a FLAT SPOT to form on her rear tire and then in a stupid thought in her mind she wanted to speed around so she could get back on the lead lap but instead blew her tire almost took out the delphi truck kim green danicas crew cheif not at fault even though he made it out to be that way every week its something new with her boo hooo poor danica

People have said the crew should have told her to go slow when exiting pit row, come on she is a professional driver and should know this, It also looks like she was going to fast to get back to pit lane, I am glad she didn't hit the truck, but enough with the excuses, she needs to stop whining and drive the car.........

From aour seats at the track it looked shewas just inches away from the truck. It scared the stinky out of us when we saw here lose control that close to the truck
