Manning blocking
Manning does a good job of blocking Dario in turn 13 to later have a brain fart and bump Rice being over aggresive. Nice fade off the brake by Manning to try and take out the competition after he screws up.

Good highlights video
Almost 9 minutes in length, this gives
a good summary of what happened
in Belle Isle. Wish it was 20 minutes
long though. Or am I just being greedy.

Nice Block @ 6:30
Check out the block @ 6:30...there were several towards the last part of the race...guess race control was to busy trying to figure out if it was a "timed" race or not

Cool video...
..., but it's missing Buddy Rice's move on Wheldon. That was a great pass, definitely a highlight you guys missed.

Great format for an online review
I love this 8-10 minute format for an online review of a race. It gives us race fans a real "meaty" look at the race summary; much better than the 10 second clip you get on most sports or news shows. One of the great things about it is that it doesn't just show the wrecks. It also shows some of the actual racing as well, which is important to race fans. All-in-all, a great format for a race review.

4 dimmensions
First in you're head count 2-3 seconds, in that short time you're car has become thousands of pounds lighter, you're brakes have gone from all the force you can push to being feather light and finnicky. 2nd, you've made a commitment in you're mind and drivers at this level stick to their commitments. 3rd, you've come from a high speed entrance to a hard throttle area and you are a sitting duck, you know the line the cars behind you want to take and you know the line they can take if forced. So count the time from beginning to end, then remember two feet, 3 pedals (and remember instinct has taken hold which is telling you to keep the engine lit) and cars coming. S. Dixon probaly can't say which decision he's made in terms of rolling or stopping. A bummer for D. Franchitti, but an accident at that point.
Multi-car incident, involving #10 Dan Wheldon, #02 Justin Wilson, #26 Marco Andretti and #2 A.J. Foyt IV during the race at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. Video Not Rated Posted: July 20th, 2008 Views: 91
