    Never switched back!!!

One hot July afternoon ,in 1999 I was watching a Nascar race...changed the channel to see how the Indy Cars were doing, and haven't watched Nascar since!!!

Beats the heck out of NASCAR

And this is why I love open wheel race cars. If those had been NASCAR finishes they would have been beating and banging on each other and having a big wreck. I would much rather see the skill of a driver determine the finish than who can shove who the most.

Sam Hornish is due for a win and so is Helio

Don't be surprised if you see both Helio and Sam in first and second at Chicagoland for the final lap. If Sam doesn't get involved in a crash or have transmission problems then watch for him to be the leader of the pack. HEY ESPN. Don't you think you should put in the song, "Leader of the Pack" at the almost end of the race? THAT WOULD RULE!

    he's not crying

Michael wasn't crying, he was stating a fact. He knows enough about the game to know what was happening. I have been to all the Chicagoland races and they produce exciting racing and finishes. So far the best was Unser and Hornish. 20 laps wheel to wheel. It doesn't get any better than that. Just wish that Michael and little Al were still racing. That would make the series real good.
