    Laguna Seca

I used to go to Laguna Seca every yearbut then the powers that be dropped it from the schedule and moved it to downtown San Jose (what a joke) This was shortly after the split I became an IRL fan also but never liked Sears Point or Infineon if you prefere. Bring back Laguna Seca sure were alot of memories there ask Mario he'll tell ya

    Aero is th big problem

I see a lot of you talking engines and turbos (which is fine with me I love turbos) but too much wing downforce coupled with rock hard shitty tires is the IRL's big problem. Change back to the low aero, high horsepower, sticky tire formula (like the 90's) and the ovals will be kick ass again.

    The biggest hurdle

Alot of the comments above seem to focus on the demise of the turbos. The turbo is gone FOR NOW! Let's be happy that everyone is racing in the same series and support it by BUYING SOME TICKETS. You can always send letters to IRL headquarters in Indy and "talk turbo." Maybe turbos will be back in the future, but first things first. The series is now on the same page. They can turn the page down the road.

    Bring on the boring

First of all, thanks for taking away Oregon's largest single day sporting event and leaving tens of thousands of open wheel fans out to dry. Second of all, I can't tell you how excited Champ car fans are to watch some of the finest open wheel drivers on the planet drive in a circle while operating inferior equipment. I'm glad that the Champ car medical trailer was part of the agreement, now the rapid response skills of a world class racing series will make up for the lack of safety and equipment offered by the IRL.

    NASCAR should show some respect

If NASCAR fans forget, let me remind them. When this split happened NASCAR didn't have nearly the amount of coverage they have now. I pray this will bring back the mighty IRL back to it's rightful spot in racing. For too long I have heard trash talk from NASCAR fans about how it's not manly enough for them. The Indy 500 will rise again. See ya on Georgetown road.
